Cadini di Misurina · DolomitesMy story
From 2010 to 2018 I worked in audio. I studied Audio Production, learned to record, mix and engineer music, and then moved into post-production: sound design and editing for big-budget films, commercials, documentaries and podcasts. Four years in, just as it was starting to work, I asked myself whether it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Looking back at how I wrote music, how I built my studio, how I used sound to make a scene come alive, one thing kept showing up: I was always designing the experience, not just the thing. That was the part I loved. That was the part worth building a career on.
So I retrained as a designer. Since then I've led product design at Belkin and Meta, designed the My Account experience at McAfee, and I now build the design system Amazon's production designers use to ship homepage creative. On the side I built KnobSnob, an AI product for music gear, end to end.
What I care about is the same as it was in the studio: the conscious and subconscious effects an interaction has on a person, and what makes people want to come back. I've been doing that my whole life. I don't plan to stop.
